When I last traveled in these cars, they were regular Amtrak lounges. The cars are a bit lower than Amtrak Superliner cars. That means the vestibules between 2 cars don't quite match. During their conversion to Pacific Parlour cars, they raised the vestibule. Now, when going from the lower car to the higher Superliner car, instead of banging your head on the Superliner vestibule, you get to trip on the step!
